GREEN DAY - KNOW YOUR ENEMY

El octavo álbum de estudio de Green Day se llama 21st Century Breakdown y ha sido editado en Reino Unido; esto lo ha informado GreenDayauthority.com basándose en la información que ha enviado el Idiot Club y ha salido el 15 de mayo de 2009. El 24 de abril se estreno de manera mundial el video oficial de la cancion "Know Your Enemy" por Mtv y VH1. 21st Century Breakdown se divide en tres actos: "Heroes and Cons", "Charlatans and Saints" y "Horseshoes and Handgrenades", y sigue a una joven pareja, Christian y Gloria, a través del desorden y la promesa de siglo hasta la fecha. Musicalmente, el álbum sigue la ópera rock al estilo de American Idiot. No sé si lo que llamamos es un 'álbum conceptual', pero hay un hilo que conecta todo. Rolling Stone llama al álbum "aún más ambicioso que American Idiot" y "un disco duro de ideales punk ... herméticamente guión, continuamente ascendente-rock clásico."

About Know your enemy: Alternative Press called the song a "huge rocker" which is a "fierce call to arms against apathy." It was also referred to by Spin as sounding "like an out-take from the Dookie sessions." Rolling Stone called the song one of the highlights of the album, praising the punk-oriented sound and calling it a "Clash-size bootboy chants". Billboard said that "The lead single from the band's new release, "21st Century Breakdown", finds the group just as politically charged as last time", but also said that "While the subject matter is broad and may be missed by some, "Enemy" has enough charm to amp up the airwaves until (21st Century) Breakdown is released."

Pet Shop Boys ha vuelto, Yes es el título del décimo álbum de estudio del dúo de synthpop británico y su primer single Love etc.. Ademas los Black Eyed Peas siguen sorprendiendo ya que entraron en el chart britanico directamente al primer lugar con su single Boom Boom Pow. Depeche Mode se mantiene dentro de los 5 primeros lugares con el single Wrong que forma parte del disco Sound of the Universe que seguramente estara entre los mejores del año. La sorpresa esta vez la da el joven Paolo Nutini, cantante/compositor originario de Paisley, Escocia, talentoso de tan solo 21 años a la altura de los grandes, su nuevo disco Sunny side up debuta con el single Candy.

Mes de hits, Bonkers es el segundo single de Dizzee Rascal con la colaboracion de Armand Van Helden, el cual ha logrado colocarse en lo mas alto de los charts britanicos en su primera semana.
